Book Review: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Well here's another book review of one of the many books I have read. This ones very, VERY popular, so i'll review it. This is the first installment of the Hunger Games trilogy.

Plot:
In the ruins of North America, a nation called Panem lies. Panem is run by the Capitol, who is the main goverment that rules Panem. Panem is divided into 12 districts, each with its own specialty.  Every year, 24 kids from ages 12-18 are chosen from each district. 1 boy and 1 girl from each district are chosen to compete in the Annual Hunger Games, a battle to the death where only one survives. Katniss Everdeen, a sixteen year old girl, lives in District 12 (mining). But when her sister Prim gets chosen, Katniss has to step up and take her sisters place, only to find she's walking into something that will haunt her life-forever. To find out what happens next, read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

Review:
This was a very suspenseful book about survival, wit, and courage. With plenty of action-packed scenes to keep you reading until the end,  The Hunger Games is a great book. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give this book a 17.
