Movie Review: The Hunger Games

First I posted the book review, now the movie. I just saw the movie last night, and it was...
AWESOME.

Plot:
Katniss Everdeen's, a sixteen year old girl living in District 12, sister has been chosen to compete in The Hunger Games, A broad casted event where 24 kids have to go fight to the death. Well, Katniss has to survive tracker jackers, killer dogs, and anything else the Capitol (rich jerks) throws at them. For any more information on the Plot, read my book review, which is the same exact plot as the movie.

Review:
This movie followed the book well, with minor changes made. The effects were spectacular, making you feel like you were really there. The acting was great, with no dullness or blandness in their emotions. Overall, this movie deserves a 10 out of 10.

Did You Know?

(A Message From Me: All the red text is my comment to the fact)

Chloë Grace Moretz, Mary Mouser, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Lyndsy Fonseca, Jodelle Ferland, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Roberts, Kaya Scodelario, Emily Browning and Shailene Woodley were considered to play Katniss.    (Sorry those are blue and underlined, they're copied from IMDB, stated in the Sources)

Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence, both natural blondes, dyed their hair brown for their roles in the film while Josh Hutcherson, naturally dark-haired, dyed his hair blond for his part.

Despite its high popularity with teenagers and adults, Lionsgate has admitted that the chances of Catching Fire and Mockingjay being converted into films all depend on the money that 'The Hunger Games' makes.   (Okay they BETTER make Catching Fire and Mockingjay, or someones gonna' get hurt) (Just kidding...MAYBE)

The fictional nation in the film is called Panem. This is derived from "Panem et Circenses," or "Bread and Circuses," which comes from the latter days of the Roman Empire, in which the government would keep the masses satisfied not by performing their public services well, but by providing violent and deadly entertainments for the people to watch, which is rather fitting for the subject matter of the film.    (Bread and Circuses?)

WILHELM SCREAM: Heard from one of the victims when Katniss cuts off a tree branch and the nest of tracker jackers fall onto some of her opponents. (The Wilhelm Scream is that weird scream shown in a Star Wars movie, heard when the man falls into that hole-thingy:

OKAY, THIS IS HILLARIOUS
While horsing around on the set, Jennifer Lawrence accidentally kicked Josh Hutcherson in the head, knocking him out and resulting in a concussion.    (Poor Josh Hutcherson)

Mistakes:

After Katniss has destroyed the stockpile at Cornucopia, she runs back into the forest and stops to whistle to the mockingjay and signal Rue. In the wide shot you can very clearly see a blue marker for where she needed to stop.

Katniss draws her bow before taking her first shot at the bag of fruit on the stockpile. In the next shot, she draws her bow again.

During the Reaping, when Katniss yells, "I VOLUNTEER!" her hair is messed up and ruffled, however, when she states "I volunteer as tribute," her hair is combed again.
